Bilingual, Mixed-Age Preschool
Chiang Mai Montessori is a bilingual school that offers two Montessori programmes for young children in mixed age settings: the Toddler Community, aimed at children aged 18 months to 3 years, and the Children’s House, for children aged approximately 3 to 6 years. The school day runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm and after school care can be arranged. English is the main language of tuition, but children who require more exposure to Thai will receive more instruction in that language and spend more time with the Thai teaching assistants.
The school year follows the Thai academic calendar, running from May to March. Children are enrolled in May of each year. It is highly advisable to plan ahead if you would like to secure a place for your child as there is a growing waiting list.
